 Sir the Nigerian entertainment industry has grown over time ,what shall we attribute these growth to??


 Mr UMANU: I attribute it to the producers .. who were bold enough to risk investing millions in Nollywood


How long have you been in the industry?


 Mr UMANU: I started making amateur content with my mobile phone since 2010 after graduating from film school in 2014 I migrated to Lagos and professional started making professional films in 2015


How easy was it for you to attain this height because we know of people who have been practicing for decades with little or nothing to show for it.


 Mr UMANU: Loyalty, consistency and hard work

 Were there challenges And how did you over come them sir??


Mr UMANU: Alot


 Sir we will like to learn your approach to them all as time permits


Mr UMANU: my approach was simple, I worked for a production house for 2years and i learnt all i needed to know in regards nollywood


A lot of upcomers are agitating that they're are not given opportunities to showcase their crafts.what do you have to tell them??


 Mr UMANU: chase the dream. forget about the money. be wiling to work for free and do it joyfully.
we all have needs and responsibilities to carter for but when i started as an editor i edited several movies for free for a lot of producers until i made my mark. now most of those people i edited for free can't even afford me.


Does your growth and success has anything to do with God fatherism?


Mr UMANU: yes, God fatherism doesn't only applies to politics its everywhere.. up till date I have industry God fathers or let me call them mentors who are kings in the industry who at some point i served them and they all gave me their blessings to move on.the likes of fred amata, teco benson, izu ojukwu, eneaji chris, okey ezugwu(oakfil) etc

 Does it mean in anyway that one can not scale thru in the industry  without a God father??

 Mr UMANU: What I mearnt is,  no matter how creative you are, you need the blessings of these veterans to Succeed. When a legend endorse your work you are on your way to a whole new level
For example if am a servant to AY Commedian. He has 4.7m followers on Instagram. Imagine if he post one of my works on his page

 Mr UMANU: Am currently on the set of Made In heaven. Featuring RMD, AY, blosom jukwukeku, Ushbebe, toyin Abraham ETC


 Is this your production and When will it be out?


Mr UMANU: It’s produced by Darlington peekabong the producer Of Merry Men (Yoruba demons)
