IS MONEY REALLY THE CHALLENGE OF UPCOMING ARTISTS?? - RAPKIDDO HAS SOMETHING TO SAY
Can we meet you?
RAPKIDDO: My name is Abdulmajeed Mubarak, an entrepreneur, a blogger, a publicist nd promoter, a hip-hop artiste
Wow,you're highly talented I must say So which of all your field would you prefer to talk about tonight??
RAPKIDDO: My music part i guess
Beautiful, How long have you been doing music And how has it been??
RAPKIDDO: 5 years now, indeed it has been hectic and definitely not easy. As it is I'm still struggling as an unsigned artiste
What's your stage name?
RAPKIDDO: Rapkiddo
What are the lists of limitations that you've been experiencing??
RAPKIDDO: The usual "money" and i think that's just the usual limitation of most upcoming artistes. Would have loved to shoot a couple of videos for some of my tracks which I'm sure would have put me in limelight if i had the means and also hype and promote some of my dope and highly appreciated tracks on top sites
A lot of artists have similar challenges ,how do you intend to solve the issue?
RAPKIDDO: Well, by working harder and striving more obviously. Nothing good comes easy is the saying and Rome was indeed not built in a day. So i have the focus and zeal that I'm gonna get there someday no matter how long because i wanna show the hiphop culture a difference in the way
But do you really think money is the challenge of upcoming artists?
RAPKIDDO: Well not majorly but I'd say for most of us, it is. What other thing i think can be of challenge is "competition" but again if you are sure of what you got, then what more challenge iS there? Money is the key to everything man an artiste need even top artistes in the world can attest to that. When you wanna perform at events as an upcoming, you gotta settle the Mc or Dj, sometimes it's even both, to record in dope studios, you need dope money, to hype and promote, it's not free. So money it is 🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂
What kind of music do you do?
RAPKIDDO: Majorly Hip-hop/Rap but when condition or mood warrants i sing (r'n'b)
Where do you draw you're inspiration from?
RAPKIDDO: I saw this coming and I'd gladly say EVERYWHERE. Street, family, friends, situations, sightings, memories, events/happenings, you name it. Just anything around i can make a message out of because that's the basics of my lyrics, always passes a message across along my bars
How many tracks have you got now?
RAPKIDDO: 16, About 5 covers, 1 cipher and 1 feature
Wow that's huge, how have you been promoting these songs in your little way?
RAPKIDDO: Well as a blogger, i just promote and hype my stuffs as wide as possibly I and within my reach
Can we have downloadable links to your songs?
RAPKIDDO: Sure.

Awesome, you've really done greatly for yourself so far.are there chances that you will abandon music anytime probably because stuffs aren't working out the way you expected?
RAPKIDDO: Thanks, it has not been easy. Abandoning music might kinda wanna happen because of my family background because my parents are against my career as an artiste but my zeal to wanna make a difference in the industry might still stands. But God knows best
You know without strong conviction and commitment to pursuing this career ,meaningful impact is near impossible.what the stuffs that will keep you going despite the challenges??
RAPKIDDO: Like i said earlier "My zeal to wanna make a difference and pass messages through my lyrics" that's the thing that has kept me going
Who is your mentor in the industry?
RAPKIDDO: I mainly look up to all rappers that gat message filled lyrics and i won't say i have a mentor per say because like i said "i wanna make a difference in the game". But as it is, my likes include Vector, MI, Eminem, 2Pac, Reminisce and Seriki.
