EHIDO ‬: My name is Blessed by people calle Ehido Esanboy. I do almost all kind of music, hiphop, afrobeat e.t.c.


 We heard music is for broke and lazy guys,what is your thought on this?


EHIDO‬: Who ever said such a thing know nothing about music, music is not for broke and lazy people. yes no doubt  most artist are broke but that does not mean is for broke people. What about Davido we all know he is from a rich home. For the lazy part they are very wrong, an artist who go to the studio morning and come out night you call him or her lazy. Music is an occupation to me.


Why did you choose music?


EHIDO: I did not choose music but music choose me. Music is part of me in everything i do. Is a gift from God


 Wow,this is deep,so for how long now have you been doing music?


EHIDO‬: Music has always be part of me. Way back when I was in ss1&2 I use to write a cover of artist songs. But I discovered my singing talent in class ss3. Meaning it has been 3 years now


 How has it been,what have been your limiting factors in your musical career so far?


EHIDO‬:  Only money


Money in what sense,To produce your songs or to promote them?


EHIDO: Both. Because any song you record should be promoted
 Money has just been my problems and nothing else


 Between record label and having money on your own to promote your songs which do you prefer?


EHIDO: Ehnn this is a hard question for someone like me. But I will prefer label because I will need advisers. If I take money I might miss use it.

 Who do you look up to in the industry,your role model?


EHIDO‬: You know in Nigeria we have  lots of great artists. I'm looking up to Wizkid,Olamide,Davido,2 Baba,Yung6ix and few more.


Lovely,where do you draw your inspirations from?


EHIDO‬: Actually I love watching artist being interviewed  and from the little things they say i will take it as an advise. I motivate myself


If you're in a position to motivate someone ,what will you tell the person?


EHIDO‬: He should never give up in his dream  no matter the struggles he passes through he should always lift his head high. One way close another way open


What else can  you take in place of music?


EHIDO: Ehnnn can't say anything for now.


Meaning you can actually swipe something for your musical career?


EHIDO‬: I did not understand your question. Is not possible to swipe your talent,a gift from God. As I said early music is part of me. I do music everyday.


 What are those things you don't like about Nigerian music industry?



EHIDO‬: Actually I have not seen anything wrong in the industry. No matter what happen in the industry you should take it as motivation


 Where do you see yourself in 5years time?


EHIDO‬: Top 5 Africa musician


Who has given you biggest support in your career?


EHIDO‬: My big brother and few friends, they support me

 So what do you have to tell them and even to those that never believed in you?

EHIDO: For those who believe in me. I am not going to let them down. While for those who don't believe in me, I'm not expecting them to believe in me but just sitdown and wait for the result


 What do you have to tell the world about yourself and your kind of music?


EHIDO‬: A great star is coming soon the star who will change the music industry to better and higher height.
