 Rose: My name is Rosemary Audrey Akwuebu a student of National Open University from Imo state orlu local govt. I love acting , swimming , reading. I’m a young vibrant and hardworking Lady


Awesome, Have you been practicing as an actor?


Rose: Yes but went on a break due to some personal issues


Lots of people see the acting career as one which any one from any background can undertake not minding that it's a professional career,what's your take on that?


 Rose : Some people may not take it serious at first but at the long run finds it interesting and take it as a career, some are just there for the money. Acting isn’t for everyone but it’s unfortunate that the industry doesn’t care about who has passion for it or who is serious about it. Once u give them what they want they put u up for a role. That’s why we have so many professionals not getting the job but those who don’t even know about acting doing the job. If producers and directors give people who are professional and talented the job I believe Nollywood would go Higher places

I like your perspective to this,can you tell us who really a professional actor is?


 Rose: A professional actor is someone who is paid to act, he takes the acting serious and is ready to do what ever it takes to get the job done with a good result


Hmmm meaning is not a matter of going to school to acquire degree on the course?


 Rose : Going to school to acquire a degree is important but mind you not all who acquire degree are talented in that field. Some people are born with the talent in them and the school is just to harness the talent


 The Nigeria movie industry is rapidly growing ,is that growth in the direction you've ever expected?


 Rose: I would say yes the Nigeria industry have moved from where it used to be to a place better and I know we are still moving forward


What would be your impact in the next 4 to 5 years?


Rose: I was just crowned Miss Africa Golden Tourism and I’m working on a project for children. That has always been my objective so in 4 to 5 years I see myself being a role model, an inspiration to kids and an influencer in the society at large, I see myself helping kids all over the world 🌎

 Rose: Wow It all started when I saw the post on IG at first I wasn’t attracted to it cuz I’m not a pageant person I have been called for many pageant but wasn’t interested but when I saw the purpose for Miss Africa Golden pageant I was moved. Their purpose was part of my objective in life so I knew that moment , that was my opportunity and so I applied and was selected among others then we went to camp where I met new people made new friends and learnt new things all within the period I was in camp. Their camp was entertaining, captivating and educating until the day of the show. Now being crowned the 3rd runner up as Miss Africa Golden Tourism was everything to me as much as my aim was to be the ultimate winner I was so elated that I got a crown and can pursue my dreams in life with such platform.in all my journey within those period not one day did I regret being part of such platform. We don’t have pageant like this that aim at helping children so I’m honored to be part of the first ever Golden pageant aimed to help the less privileged African child fight against all child vices. My project is coming up soon mainly on helping the African child.

Rose: Yes I do

 Rose: I’ll be clothing and feeding the children on the street in different location so I’ll be grateful if I’m supported on this project
