I am Najid Alfred Toofine, I hail from Bayelsa state,studied Theatre arts,I majored in Acting, Directing and Screenwriting.

WHERE ARE YOU COMING FROM AND WHERE ARE YOU AT THE MOMENT?

I have acted several plays in the Niger Delta University Stage as a Thespian, and have also directed lots of stage plays, the likes of Gold,Frankincense and Myrrh by Isiaba Irobi, Wives Revolt, Dance of the Ghost by Ben Binebai, Sounds of the rising sun by Ben Binebai, The Seventh Virgin by Ben Binebai, The gods are not to blame by Ola Rotimi, The Lion and the jewel by Woke Soyinka and many more.....

I am among the first 10 Solo actors in Africa at large, making my debut with Ben Binebai's "My Life is a burning Creaks"
Also acted so many stage plays.
I am a film maker,studied the arts of script writing under the mentorship of Syd Field, one of America's greatest screenwriters. I have written several movies, and I am working on a great piece,I believe its a strong story that would break box office record.

WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT THE NOLLYWOOD OF TODAY?

Talking about the industry,we have grown and we are better,but the problem we are having at the moment is everybody wanting to become an actor and a film maker, those who never studied the arts, those who have little or no idea about the arts, they are even occupying the major positions and are destroying what other people are trying to build. If only everybody would stick to what they know best,the industry would have grown better.

Right now, I am on a mission of proving to those many people out there that THINKS "Nollywood is rubbish " that we are actually better than what we use to be and they shan't regret their time and money in the cinemas.

HOW CAN PEOPLE REACH YOU TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU AS A FRESH GRADUATE AND A GREAT MIND IN THE INDUSTRY?
